Spanish composer: Juan Rodrigue

It's time for yet another exciting session of doreh. As you probably recall, our dear friend Behnam sent out an e-mail a couple of weeks ago about showing a, and I quote, "fantastic video about a grrrrrrrreat Spanish composer: Juan Rodrigue". In this session of doreh, Behnam will be showing us the video after which we will hold a discussion on the movie or related topics (i.e. music, other composers, musical instruments, Behnam's VCR, the food he prepares...you know, that kinda thing!)
Behnam has also offered his place for this gathering. So double thanks go to him for not only providing the "soujeh", but also offering his place. In fact triple thanks...hell, thanks are free, a million thanks go to Behnam for his repeatedly demonstrated gracious hospitality as well as volunteering to share his love of music with the rest of us.

I would like to held one Doreh at my place to show a very very very fantastic video about a grrrrrrrreat Spanish composer: Juan Rodrigue. The first part of this video covers his most famous creation: Concierto De Aranjuez with narration of the greatest classical guitar player alive: Pepe Romero. You all have heard this music, specially the second part of it because it took the world by storm and I have not seen anyone who has not heard it. This part goes into the story behind this music and shows Pepe Romero playing it along with the symphony orchestra.
The second part of the video is entitled: Rodrigue at 90. It is made as a tribute to Rodrigies 90th birthday. It has plenty of other works of Ridrigue along with many great musicians and Rodrigu'es wife and children talk about him.
It is great to see how Spanyards honor their great musical masters while our own great musician, Akbar Mohseni (creator of "elAheye nAz") dies in LA without anyone knowing anything about it.
This video is a masterpice and if you can sit still and enjoy it as much as I do, then let us have a gathering.
