Nazar Avenue is on the right if approached from the Bridge with Thirty Three Arches. About half-way down on the left a naked cupola seems similar to many others except for the fact that it carries as its top a small and modest Christian cross.

"Vank Church I"

Esfahan, All saviour's cathedral, known as the Vank. Its design is very much that of the domed sanctuary chamber of a Persian mosque, with the addition of a raised chancel and alter within a semi, octagonal apse. By contrast to its modest exterior, the cathedral's interior is lavishly decorated.
